Curiosity

Terms of Service

Last updated 22/07/2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and Resonance Labs Pty Ltd, trading as Curiosity ("Curiosity", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the Curiosity education platform at curiosityaieducation.com and all related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Curiosity provides education on financial literacy, on AI literacy, safety and responsible use, on sustainability, and on wellbeing habits. The Service includes:

  • Written lessons and notes
  • Quizzes with instant feedback, including open questions marked with the help of artificial intelligence
  • Case studies and assignments
  • Sessions and events arranged with schools

3. Accounts and registration

To use the Service with an account, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Tell us promptly about any unauthorised access to your account
  • Meet the age requirements set out in the section on age and young people below

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Education, not advice

Everything on Curiosity is general education. It is not financial advice, legal advice or tax advice.

Our financial literacy content explains concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, borrowing and tax in general terms. It does not take your personal circumstances into account, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product. Before making financial decisions, consider your own situation and, where appropriate, seek advice from a licensed professional.

Similarly, our AI literacy and sustainability content is educational. It does not guarantee any outcome from using any AI tool or service.

Our wellbeing content is education about habits and ideas. It is not medical or mental health advice, it is not therapy or counselling, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are struggling, talk to someone qualified. In Australia you can call Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or visit headspace.org.au.

5. School sessions and bookings

Schools can book scoping calls and in school sessions through the Service. Bookings are scheduled through Calendly. Session details, including duration, format, any fees and cancellation arrangements, are agreed with the school at the time of booking.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or submit work that is not your own for assessment
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure
  • Attempt to manipulate, mislead or extract unintended behaviour from the AI marking system
  • Use the Service to harass, harm or impersonate others
  • Copy, scrape or redistribute lesson materials, or use them to train machine learning models, without our written consent

7. AI marking and feedback

Short answer questions and written submissions are marked with the help of large language models against published rubrics. AI marking is assistive, not authoritative: it can make mistakes, and anything the system is unsure about is flagged for human review. If you believe a mark is wrong, contact us and a person will look at it.

8. Intellectual property

All lesson materials, including written notes, quizzes, case studies and the Curiosity brand, are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non transferable right to access them for your own learning. Work you submit remains yours; you grant us a licence to store, display and mark it as part of operating the Service.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or retire features with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end and our Privacy Policy governs what happens to your data.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated by email to active accounts before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were most recently revised.

13. Age and young people

Curiosity is built for high school and university students. If you are under 13, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent, guardian or school. If you are under 18, we recommend involving a parent or guardian in your use of the Service.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
